In case you missed it last night, here's  a summary of what Michelle Obama said:

"We need change. We're not going to tell you what that change is, in fact we're not even sure ourselves what change we need, but we need change. Barack is from Hawaii. My dad was a cripple but now he is dead. We were poor, just like Barack, but we still went to Princeton. Barack is black. We care about the military, we are normal everyday people. Barack was born and raised in Hawaii. He was raised by a single mom. He works with the poor, helpless people. He volunteers for different things."

Republican translation:

"We want a democrat in the White House, that is the change that we want. We don't know what changes we would make so we aren't going to give specifics, we just keep saying 'change' and everyone claps so we stay with it. We need to make Barack seem American eventhough he comes from non-traditional American upbringing. Hawaii is 'exotic' to most Americans eventhough it is part of America so I will keep bringing that up. Maybe eventually Americans will see him as some 'exotic person who will bring change'. We need sympathy votes and since we have an aging America I will try to go for the caretakers of that aging America. Crippled and now dead, that's good. If we say we were poor maybe they will believe us and we will get the 'poor' vote. I'll throw in 'Princeton' for the wealthy people. Forget that Barack's mom is white, making him only half black. We need the black vote so he will be black. We will say we care about the military but we won't actually clap for them like we did for the mention of Ted Kennedy, family, values, and Hillary Clinton. We will also say we love teachers, but again we won't clap. Bring up Hawaii again. We need to reinforce that his Muslim father did not have a lot to do with his upbringing so I will continue to say he was raised by a single mother. Hey, maybe that will bring in the single mom vote as well! He has no real experience to be President but people love people that volunteer and help others. I will not bring up the fact that he is politically inexperienced and will bring nothing of real value to the White House, I will just talk about what he has done and maybe they will forget about that."

If you get to watch last night's meeting or whatever they are calling it, you should. She was talking about all the things they hold dear. Family, values, blah, blah...The crowd was clapping and yelling. But when she mentioned the military defending our country it all stopped. You literally could have heard a pin drop. There were thousands there and yet there was not a sound at that moment. Then she mentioned teachers, again no sound. Next, she said 'Hillary Clinton' and the crowd goes wild again. I want to see if Fox or any other news agency says anything about that. Tonight they will have the director of Planned Parenthood as their speaker. I will go ahead and translate what she will say. "Forget that we kill babies. We also give exams and birth control. We are doing good things. And we tell the moms that it isn't really a baby, it's just flesh. Think of it as liposuction. If the mom has the baby it may be on welfare and we would not get any money but if we perform an abortion we are actually saving the taxpayers money and we get paid. We are trying to cut taxes. Oh yeah, we need change in the White House. Vote for the black man who was raised by a poor, single mom in Hawaii."
